The holy Quran Verse 25:58 says “Va tavakkal’ alal’- harulliji la yamutu va sabbih’ bihm’dihi va kafaa bihi bijunoobi ibadihi Khabira (Kabira)”. Quran Sharif Surah Al Furqan 25:59 says, He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between Sky and Earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne – the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed. Bakhabar Is Well Acquainted With All Holy scriptures You may remain firm on the basis of the knowledge of the Quran given by me that Kabir is the only Supreme God, and may struggle (Do Not Fight) and remain rigid for Allah Kabir. Prophet Muhammad’s God tells, Oh Prophet! Do not listen to the kafir (disbelievers, who instead of one God, worshipping other Gods–Goddesses and Idols) because those people do not consider Kabir as the Supreme God. Verse 25:52 says “Fala-Tutiyal-Kafiran-ve-Jahidhum-Bihi-Jihadan-Kabiran”. The Supreme God is Allahu Akbar or Kabir Saheb as mentioned in the Quran. Gods, other than the Supreme God Kabir Sahib or Allah Hu Akbar, can only give fruits according to the past deeds, they can’t add good deeds or can’t remove bad ones from our destiny. Spirituality does not mean meditation, going to the Temple or Mosque, studying the scriptures. Spirituality is the cure of all kinds of problems. Traditional Rituals Do Not provide Relief From Misfortune Some recite Al-Quran and any other act to get Allah’s attention and blessings. In Iraq and many parts of South Asian countries, people usually distribute sweets whereas the regions of Middle Eastern countries do not celebrate the night. On this night, traditionally people distribute sweets or local desserts known as “ Halwa” or other delicacies to their beloved ones including family members, friends, neighbours and the impoverished. There are several ways of celebrating Shab-e-Barat depending upon the country. Muslim devoteesconsider that the prayer on Shab-e-Barat blesses the fortune bestowed upon by Allah. The devotees start fast for Shab-e-Barat after Sehri, however taking fast is useless practice and there is no evidence of it in our holy scripture such as Holy Quran, Holy Bible, Holy Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta, etc. The long Namaz session lasts for the whole night. After sundown on evening Shab-e-Barat, the devotees begin their prayers with “Isha Ki Namaz”. Muslims believe that Allah pardons everyone who prays to do so on this night.
